Here in Southern California we can enjoy golf courses throughout the year due to this amazing weather, but unfortunately we cannot list all of them, so we have narrowed down the top golf courses in Orange County.
This amazing resort is the most luxurious resort in the United States. It includes a golf resort and spa with incredible views to the Pacific Ocean. It was designed by Tom Fazio (1945), a famous golf course architect, to be the best golf course ever played. The Newport Beach Country Club
This 6,600 yard, par 71, private course, was originally built in 1953 by William Bell (1886-1953), enhanced by Harry Rainville in 1973, and further redefined by Ted Robinson (1923-2008). The original design was really well know for its tricky water hazards, old trees, and stunning views towards the Pacific Ocean at the Newport Bay.
It is a “must” stop for the senior PGA tour. This 50 year old course has plenty of amenities to offer its players. Beautiful aged pine trees, impeccable greens and fairways and views to the ocean makes it a picture perfect course that attracts golfers worldwide.
Lakewood Golf Course was designed by architect William Bell (1886-1952), in 1933. It is one of the largest golf courses in the area with over 7,000 yards. Water comes into play on seven of the holes from Lake Bouton, a man-made signature designed for this golf course.
