The 5k and 10k course is around the perimeter of the Yorba Regional Park, and the Santa Ana River bike trail. There will be live music throughout the event, courtesy of CSUF jazz combomusic, prizes, food, and a 1k kids fun run for 12 & under.

California’s Largest Thanksgiving Day Run Event – The Dana Point Turkey Trot – One of America’s Most Scenic Runs… hosted by The Dana Point Chamber of Commerce. Tour the beautiful beach, majestic cliffs and coves of Dana Point.
Enjoy pounding surf, rugged cliffs, and cool ocean breezes as you sail through the Dana Point Marina, Doheny State Park and pass the historic tallship Pilgrim moored in Dana Point Harbor.
Slimmer Before Thanksgiving Dinner Holiday Event – Orange

SAVE THE DATE for Saturday, November 21st from 7:00am-1:00pm. Longevity Sport and Fitness will be hosting a “Slimmer Before Thanksgiving Dinner Holiday Event” with the health organizations GuardaHeart and Body-Comp Dexa Scan. GuardaHeart will be offering heart testing and education through their PUL Cardiac test. Learn about your Heart Age and get your heart tested at the GUARDaHEART booth. Additionally, Body-Comp will be performing in depth body composition for all interested community members.
Longevity group classes will be complimentary for all! The classes will run at 7am, 8am, and 9am. Make sure to get to our 7am class a bit early to secure your spot! The class will be a Boot Camp taught by fitness celebrity Tony Lattimore! If that isn’t enough excitement, celebrity fitness model and champion body builder, Lauren Powers, will also be in attendance!
This is an event you will not want to miss! We can’t wait to see all of you and focus on your overall health before the holiday season!

2015 marks the 29th year that We Give Thanks, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, has provided Thanksgiving dinners to families in need. The event also serves as a gathering spot for those who don’t want to spend the holiday alone. Dinner will be served on Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There also promises to be some great entertainment to go along with the meal. If you or your group has time to lend a hand, please check out the We Give Thanks website for volunteer information and guidelines.

Pretend City’s “Celebrate Thanksgiving!” program helps educate the younger members of the family about this holiday. Through storytelling, music and art programs, children will learn about being thankful and how to convey that to other family members. Pretend City’s event takes place on Nov. 25, the day before Thanksgiving, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
