Sellers

Should I wait to sell? It’s a great question right now! It seems currently multiple obstacles are standing between you and a sale, but in reality (and something many are not considering) this is the prime time to get your home on the market. Of course, Cesi Pagano & Associates are taking all precautions for everyone’s safety, but with everything working virtually by now, the only thing stopping you from selling is you. And, as before mentioned, the prime time is now to list as most of your competition is also asking the same questions, and coming up with the answer, “no.” When the dust does eventually settle, there is going to be a flood of homes hitting the market, and your home could easily get lost in the crowd.

So when you’re thinking about selling, but waiting until everything gets back to normal, you may just be letting go of a lot of value your current home has. Buyer’s still want to buy and are daily hunting for any home that comes on the market. Buyers

Should you wait to buy, it is also a great question. There are two things you should be taking into consideration when thinking about this question. The first being that interest rates, currently, are very low. Even with them fluctuation a little, they are remaining low for the time being. Secondly, the longer you wait to buy, the longer you may be making someone else rich (if you are currently renting) or losing value on your home (see above). Of course, we are taking all precautions to everyone’s safety, but with everything going virtual by now, the only thing stopping you from buying is you. As mentioned above, the housing market is going to boom once all Stay-at-Home orders are done with, creating only competition for you.

Why not at least take a look out there? See if you’re home-sweet-home is already sitting out there, waiting for you to submit an offer while others are sitting on their hands, waiting for everything to calm down.
