GUIDELINES TO GET YOUR HOUSE READY TO SHOW WHEN YOU ARE SHORT ON TIME
When your house is on the market, you know that a showing could happen at any time. It’s definitely a challenge to keep your house “squeaky clean” 24/7, especially with young kids or pets. So when you get that call that a Realtor wants to pop buy with potential buyers in 10 minutes, do not panic. Follow The Cesi Pagano Team’s guidelines to get your house ready to show when you are short on time.
You have 10 minutes
· Make all the beds. The sheets underneath don’t have to be perfect, just make sure the duvet and pillows are neat and tidy
· Empty all garbage bins into a garbage bag and take it out or take it with you
· Flush all toilets and make sure the toilet seats are down
· Close all closet doors
· Quickly wipe down all countertops and sinks with a damp cloth
· Grab a laundry basket and throw all you mess and clutter into it and take it with you
· Spritz the house with air freshener
· Turn on all the lights in the house
You have one hour
· Do everything listed above, but pay more attention to detail
· Clear your kitchen countertops as much as possible. Be sure all dishes are put away or in the dishwasher
· Laundry should be folded and put away
· Vacuum all carpeted areas
· Sweep all hard-surfaced floors
· Use cleaning products on the surfaces and mirrors to give them an extra shine
