Surf City USA Marathon and Half Marathon Feb. 3-5
This surf, sand, and sun marathon features an oceanfront course along PCH – and it’s a Boston Marathon qualifier. Registration for the marathon and half marathon is currently open, but selling out fast. Be sure to visit the Expo for packet pick-up and to browse an array of vendors. Kids Pet Parade Feb. 18
Children between the ages of 5-12 can show off their favorite animals in contests for: Best Team Costume (owner and pet), Best Domestic/ Household Pet, Best Exotic Pet, Best Barnyard/Farm Animal, Best Bird. All pets must be leashed, haltered, or caged, and an adult must accompany children. A special “Judges Choice” prize will be awarded and this winner will be given the opportunity to be in the Swallows Day Parade. Some past winners have included potato bugs, dogs, ducks and ponies.

Relay For Life Tennis Tournament Feb. 26
