Tomorrow is the 4th and we couldn’t be more excited for a long weekend, delicious food and drinks, socializing, and fireworks! But we also recognize that the 4th of July is one of the most dangerous holidays out there with thousands of accidents reported each year. So please keep your family safe tomorrow by following The Cesi Pagano Team’s 4th of July safety tips below:
Never allow children to play with or ignite fireworks
- Never try to re-light or pick up fireworks that have not ignited fully
- Keep a fire extinguisher, bucket of water, or garden hose handy in case of fire or other mishaps
- Make sure fireworks are LEGAL in your area before buying or using them, especially in Southern California where there are restrictions in place due to our severe drought
- Store fireworks in a cool, dry place away from pets and children
- Make sure the person lighting fireworks always wears eye protection
- Never throw or point fireworks towards people, animals, vehicles, structures, or flammable materials
- While alcohol is a favorite of many for the holiday celebrations, it’s important to constantly keep an eye on your drinks and keep them away from children
- When you are disposing of 4th of July decorations and fireworks, make sure they are completely free of heat and fire
From everyone here at The Cesi Pagano Team, we wish you a fun-filled, happy, and safe 4th of July!
