HB APA’s “Side Show” : Jan. 11-13 & 18-20
The Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts presents “Side Show,” a musical based on the true story of conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton who became stars during the Depression. “Side Show” is a moving portrait of two women joined at the hip whose extraordinary bondage brings them fame but denies them love. HB APA’s Musical Theatre department presents this annual fundraiser and show, which will be complete with opportunity baskets, auctions, and a pre-show one hour before each performance.

Sister Cities Presents Gianne de Genevraye : Jan. 12
The Newport Beach Sister City Association, with special thanks to the Newport Beach City Arts Commission, will host a reception and conversation with international artist Gianne de Genevraye. Small bites and no-host wine bar. Gianne de Genevraye is a Contemporary Nature Artist who paints in public gardens and exhibits in public spaces. Her work focuses on contemporary approaches to nature.

Whale Talk & Walk : Jan. 12
Join us for a Naturalist-led presentation on whales, other cetaceans, and marine mammals that can frequently be seen from the Dana Point Headlands.
