Winter Fest OC Through Jan. 5
Featuring ice tubing down an 8 lane, 150-foot mountain, massive snow play and slide area, ice skating on SoCal’s largest outdoor ice rink, nightly Christmas tree lighting celebration with a parade of the Winter Fest OC characters. Fireworks and snow flurries, Santa and his reindeer flying over the fairgrounds, Alpine Village with a new light maze and wintery attractions, over 20 carnival rides and attractions, festive entertainment, seasonal eateries, visits with Santa and more.

Capistrano Lights Through Jan. 6
Experience the Mission at Night featuring a nightly tree lighting and music program. After the Mission closes, guests can take their complimentary downtown San Juan Capistrano map and discover the historic downtown district with plenty of holiday shopping, dining, and wine tasting all season long.

Surf City Splash Jan. 1
Registration, a pancake breakfast, and a craft fair will begin at 8 am next to Zack’s Pier Plaza. A costume contest will take place at 11:30 am, with prizes for funniest, best celebrity, most sparkly, best animal-themed, and group costume. The big SPLASH into the ocean will take place at noon. $20 registration benefits the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum. All participants will receive breakfast and certificate of appreciation.
