Annual Trick or Treat Festival – Costa Mesa

The Orange County Market Place celebrates the Halloween season with its Annual Trick or Treat Festival in Costa Mesa. The first 500 kids to check in with them will receive a special prize! Costumes encouraged as you Trick-or-Treat around the Market Place, visiting participating vendors and concession stands for candy. Stick around for Halloween entertainment including stilt walkers, puppet shows, and face painting – all free to enjoy!

Fun FREE activities for the whole family! At 3:00 pm the City of Dana Point will be hosting spooky fun at Lantern Bay Park. Halloween Carnival Games, Crafts, magic show, costume parade and more!
The night ends with a Spooky Family Film beginning at 7pm. Free popcorn, hot chocolate and treats

Boot Hill – Irvine

An elaborate yard display in Irvine, BOOT HILL rises from the fog each year to inhabit the residence at 16 Goldenrod. The unearthly spirits from the Old West town of Bridgewood will materialize for EIGHT haunting nights, transforming the residence at 16 Goldenrod into the old church and cemetary that once occupied this hallowed ground. Come if you dare… but beware the ghost of Jedediah Smith, as he has been known to roam the decaying grounds of Boot Hill, exacting revenge on all who cross his path!
Free to all, donations are accepted with proceeds going to CHOC, Children’s Hospital of Orange County.

Mysteriously in the night, a tent appeared at Crown Valley Park with a sign posted: Carnivale Opening Soon! Guests will be escorted in groups through a series of mazes and tents with scenes such as: Freak Show, Fortune Teller, Spider Maze, and Clown Alley, which are sure to AMAZE & TERRIFY all who dare to visit the annual Haunted Trails event!

Casa Creepy: Haunted House – San Clemente

Have you ever wondered if Casa Romantica is haunted? Yes, it is! CASA CREEPY: HAUNTED HOUSE is one of the most fun and unique haunted houses for families in south Orange County. Encounter ghosts, mummies, and creepy-crawly surprises around every corner during spooky tours of our historic 1927 home. Period films such as Nosferatu and vintage-themed special effects will ‘reel’ in the whole family, and candy and refreshments will be available.

Ghosts and Legends Tour – San Juan Capistrano

Get in the spirit of Halloween by joining the Historical Society Walking Tour Guides on a spooky walking tour of Los Rios Street, the oldest residential neighborhood in California. Be prepared for creepy tales of big black dogs, strange monks who have lost their heads, ghostly tales about a lady in white who have all been seen in this area.
Ghost Walk Tours are conducted each night at 6:30, 7:00, and 7:30 pm. The cost is $10.00 per adult, and $5.00 per child. The tour is not suitable for small children.
